Festival of Barrels in Lake George

This weekend was the Adirondack Pub and Brewery's Festival of Barrels -- a celebration of rare, barrel-aged beer.

While it was super cold, it was also super fun! Huddling around the bonfire was the perfect way to keep warm, and meet new friends.

Attendees also had the opportunity to help the brewery pick what their summer beer will be this year. They had a handful of growlers filled with different variations of what their summer beer will be. We had the chance to sample them, and then vote for which one we liked best. The one with the most votes will be what they will brew.

I'm not going to spoil the surprise by telling you the flavor combination, but I will say, the color is very interesting.

Once again, the brewery put on a fabulous event that was a ton of fun, got the community together and gave people yet another reason to visit Lake George in the winter.
