I have to agree with your post. This year I did not even think about my new year resolution. I just figured that I would continue to work on my goals! That way I will not disappoint myself when I break my resolution. deedsailynews

Isn't it amazing how powerful language is? For you, "goals" feels more attainable than "resolutions". I'm a bit leery of the word goals because, for me, in the process of getting there, the goal sometimes changes. BUT what you've done is noodle it by creating attainable mini-goals, ones you can CELEBRATE that you're doing. Cool. After trying a cleanse in Dec., I realized I can live without coffee in the morning and drink lemon & water, too. And my constant heartburn has just about disappeared! Now, coffee's a treat once in a while when I'm out where I can get a really good cup. I appreciate it so much more. And so does my digestive tract! Here's to doable minis!!!

I think you're totally right. Why hype up such huge resolutions? You know...I once lost 70 pounds and it WASN'T a resolution. It was more of an epiphany! ;) After having my daughter, I'm in dire need of another of of those or some simple goals like you listed. Good luck for the rest of the year! :)

I wanted to blog more & I have. So far so good! I don't know how you regular bloggers do it but you are a definite inspiration Michelle, so feel good about yourself :) Limiting coffee is a great goal too much caffeine can make you so irritable.

We totally think alike.. I have changed it to goals instead of resolutions as well :) Goals seem more serious to me
